The Ancient Order of Hibernians, St. Patrick’s Division 2 of Babylon will be hosting its 4th ANNUAL Half-Way to St. Patrick's Day 5K Run / Walk and Little Leprechauns Fun Run to bring the greater Long Island community together for a family centered day of fun and a bit of Irish culture including bag pipers and Irish step dancers! Park Place is excited to host the St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run! Dress festive and start the day strong with a great run/walk through Leawood, then stay for food and specials throughout the Village. I could tell that runners ran harder than usual because i myself felt it even with a good one-mile warm up right before the race. Go for the gold! From Columbia High School Cross Country and Track & Field: Lace up your sneakers, shake the winter out of your bones, and come out for the annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K on March 8 to benefit the Columbia High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams. The race starts at 9:00 a.m. near the Come out and enjoy this scenic, flat half marathon, & 5k in the heart of Georgetown near the Nation’s Capital. Both events run on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path, however the Half Marathon begins/ends in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club while the 5K begins/ends at Fletcher’s Boat House All participants will receive a St. Patrick's Day Run t-shirt.
